Solar Irrigation Systems (Water Pumps ) with department of Water Management GB 2022-23.

Kamal Energy, in collaboration with the Gilgit-Baltistan Government, has ushered in a new era of sustainable agriculture with the installation of 20 solar pumps, each with a capacity of 5hp. These solar irrigation systems represent an eco-conscious solution to meet the region’s agricultural needs, harnessing the power of the sun to provide reliable and efficient irrigation for the local farming communities.

Solar Systems for IT Labs at
Aga Khan schools 2022-23

Aga Khan schools in Gilgit-Baltistan are embracing sustainability and reliability in their IT/Computer labs with the installation of solar systems. A total of 19 schools are making the switch to solar power, ensuring a consistent and eco-friendly energy source. Additionally, 13 existing solar systems are being expertly repaired by Kamal Energy, further enhancing the region’s commitment to clean energy solutions.

IT Hub Hunza KADO | Dec 2022

In the face of a substantial energy crisis in the Hunza region, the IT HUB, established by the Karakoram Area Development Organisation (KADO), now stands as a beacon of sustainability and progress. Kamal Energy has provided a crucial solution with the installation of a 15KW hybrid solar system. This innovative solar infrastructure not only addresses the energy challenges but also supports the growth of the IT sector in Hunza, providing vital power for the hub’s operations and paving the way for a brighter and more sustainable future.

Aga Khan Foundation IT Park Hunza 2023

This is one of pilot project implemented and tendered by Water & Power Division Gilgit-Baltistan. Prior to this project no such big scale solar project was carried out in the GB region. The project was completed and handed-over to the government after conducting 3-months of testing. The systems were design, installed and commissioned by Engineers and technical staff of Kamal Energy. This project prove to be of very high quality as it include international standard equipment such as Goodwe hybrid Inverter, Jinko Solar Panels, and Ritar Solar dry batteries.

UNDP GLOF Project 2023

The GLOF (Glacial Lake Outburst Flood) Project, initiated by the United Nations Development Program, is making significant strides towards enhancing disaster resilience in the pristine region of Gilgit-Baltistan. This groundbreaking initiative focuses on the solarization of meteorological departments and the establishment of community-based response units. A total of 24 sites across the region will benefit from these vital enhancements, strengthening the community’s capacity to respond to potential glacial lake outburst floods and ensuring sustainable access to crucial meteorological information.

140KW Hybrid Solar System Project with Water and Power Division Hunza

In order to resolve the energy crisis in winters the water and power division Hunza implemented a solar project which covered 30 government schools, Hospitals and Offices. This project was signed in august 2020 and was completed by mid January 2021. The team worked tirelessly among harsh weather conditions in order to deliver the project before the deadline.
